We have a limited number of tickets to an advance screening of Thirst, the newest vampire movie by the same director as the Korean New Wave sensation Old Boy. The screening is this Thursday, August 20 at 7pm. Stop by the store to pick one up. First come first serve. Thirst is coming to the Ken's Landmark Theater this Friday.
Come join us at the Wistle Stop for some "Close Encounters of The Third Kind" This Sunday, August 23rd at 4pm, Stephen Spielberg's second blockbuster spectacular.

The much-anticipated Where the Wild Things Are, scripted by Dave Eggers and directed by Spike Jonze, held a Comic Con panel and showed a few scenes, and just yesterday a nice little featurette about the film popped up.
San Diego Band, The Modlins, will play a live in-store set during this summer's walkabout. Saturday, July 25th, 8pm.
